The BA program aims to produce graduates who have an advanced awareness, understanding and appreciation of the courses of the intellectual history and complexities of human thoughts, expressions and behavior as reflected in a specified disciplined area.
The BA program offered by Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FOHSS) aims to fulfill the following objectives:- To acquaint the students with knowledge of recent development in different fields of general and technical studies and equip them with skills. - To make the students able to cope with new situations and functions as well-informed educated persons both in Nepal and foreign countries including those of the SAARC. - To make the standard of education higher and more qualitative.- To generate knowledge and skills required for the job market.

Objective Of Bachelor Of Arts (BA) At Kathmandu Pragya Kunja
The Bachelor of Arts degree at Kathmandu Pragya Kunja College is a platform of a wealth of knowledge in the areas of Humanities and Social Sciences. Its objective is to help students grow intellectually, and to graduate them as citizens with strong communications skills, problem solving ability, the capability to research, critical thinking, interpersonal understanding and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Graduates will also be able to exhibit their ability for specialized study and research at a higher level and/or in applying knowledge in employment or community service, and have enhanced further their personal, cultural, creative and intellectual capacities.
The objective of the program is not only limited to equip students with academic knowledge and professional skills required for the job market but also to produce scholar graduates who emerge as leaders of the society with integrity, most advanced skills and insightful attitudes, leading to social development.
On successful completion of the program students should:

- be able to conceive, plan, research and execute a project requiring research, composition, and interpretation at an advanced level
