Admission Form

Interested Students must duly complete the Admission Form. The Admission Form and BA prospectus will be available at the College during the admission period from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. Online Admission Form can also be downloaded from the college website (www.kpkc.edu.np). Admission Form should be submitted to the College Office by the submission deadline. Any candidates submitting his/her admission form later than the submission deadline will not be eligible for applying into KPKC BA Program.

Admission Requisite

The following documents should be enclosed during the submission of Application forms:

1. Duly Complete KPKC Application form and essay.
2. If applicable, duly filled scholarship form along with an essay.
3. 2 copies of color Passport size photographs.
4. Original and a copy of Migration Certificate of Intermediate.
5. 2 Copy of Provisional Certificate of Intermediate.
6. 2 Copy of academic transcripts of SLC.
7. 2 Copy of academic transcripts of Intermediate.
8. 2 Copy of transfer/Character Certificate of SLC.
9. 2 Copy of transfer/Character Certificate of Intermediate.
10. A Copy of Citizenship Certificate / Passport.
11. If applicant has completed his/her intermediate from foreign universities, 2 copies of examination admit card.

All the applicants should appear for the written test to assess their knowledge and competency for the program. The entrance test will be held on the following areas: Verbal Ability,
As per their convenience, students can appear for Paper Based Entrance (PBE) OR Computer Based Entrance (CBE).
Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.

Interview

The interview aims to check the general knowledge of the student in areas related to their aptitude, attitude and communication skills.

Final Selection

The final selection of the candidates for the admission in Kathmandu Pragya Kunja College will be based on their academic record, their performance in the entrance test and interview and their attitude towards the program and institution norms and values.
Only selected candidates are eligible for admission in KPKC.
Kathmandu Pragya Kunja College Management Committee holds the authority for the final selection/rejection of any candidate.

Scholarships at KPKC

KPKC offers number of Scholarships at the time of admission.

1. Meritorious Scholarship for students holding outstanding academic performance in their intermediate.
2. Need Based Scholarship for students who cannot financially support their education.
3. Under Privileged Scholarship for Minority Groups.
4. KDBC Students Scholarship for students who have completed their intermediary from Kathmandu Don Bosco Higher Secondary School & College.

The scholarship offered by the College Management during the time of admission will be based upon the student’s academic performance, entrance examination and interview. Please note however that the scholarship offered during the time of admission will be valid for the First Terminal Examination Only. For the remaining installments, students will be applying for Performance Based Scholarship.

Performance Based Scholarship at KPKC

In order to acknowledge and appreciate the outstanding performance of students at the BA level, the management committee has instituted a Performance Based Reward that is transparent and competitive. Scholarship for the succeeding semester will depend entirely upon the student’s performance in the previous semester.
(For eg: Scholarship for the Second Installment will depend upon the student’s academic as well as non academic performance in the First Terminal Examination).
The examination grading earned in a terminal examination will be the sole basis for Performance Based Scholarship.
